I almost never look at the outside but inside I walk past it multiple times a day walking from my living room to my dining room/kitchen.

I'll be honest though I don't care either way particularly but my SO certainly would.

The company I bought my Ultion lock from let you choose different coloured handles if preferred. I got black on the outside and silver on the inside.

Yes I think it could look better on the inside, but I don't think it's particularly bad. It's a hockey puck sized device, it's not a huge behemoth of a thing. The important things for me are reliability and security. Not point looking nice if it doesn't work half the time and can be bypassed easily. I also like that from the outside it doesn't look any different to a regular handle.

Not living in UK but interested in Ultion smart lock - i like the auto lock / unlock based on bluetooth, same as Nuki. One thing to consider is actually the low bolt security - have a look at this                                 So if you buy it, i'd advise to change the deadbolt inside with a secure one.

I've seen that before. I think it's still pretty low risk. Burglars don't pick locks. They look for the easiest method.

I agree, nevertheless i can't have piece of mind just knowing that for £230 you get a lock pickable in 15 sec.. If / when i'll but it (because i like the looks and smart functionality) i will change the deadbolt. I just need to consider that in the budget from the begining..

Picked in 15 seconds by a professional picker.

Change it to what?
There probably isn’t many locks a lock smith can’t pick in a very short space of time. I’m guessing most burglars will try to snap the cylinder as first choice.

The bolts with double pins (pin inside a pin) are difficult to pick. Mul-T-Lock MT5is an example, i'm sure there are others as well.
I'm not trying to convince you of anything, just pointing out that Ultion lock is not so secure as advertised.

Yes, but no burglar is ever going to pick a lock.
