Coming up as an error when I tried to reach this page?

Aha... I can see it now.

It looks like a fine all in one amplifier, but with proper specs. And realistic power.

I assume the sub outs have a high pass filter and if so this will make a mighty fine stereo setup with smaller speakers and a good quality sub, or two!

Shame it doesn’t include Dirac. That would have been genuinely awesome. Though, naturally, more expensive.

so basically its a 2 channel av reciever. i dont see the advantage of going for this as most if not all muilti channel av recivers can run in 2 channel.mode.

They can make it smaller (no need for all the speaker outputs on the back).

A slimline processor would be nice. Thanks Marantz.
Or a slimline avr with pre outs would also be cool.

Surprised it's taken so long for one of the mainstream brands to start producing a 2.1 receiver. I've been looking at the NR1710/NR1510 even though only using 2.1 config in my apartment. This could be a better solution if . Be good to compare each in 2.1/2.0 mode.

It has considerably more power than the equivalent 5.1 receiver.

The 1502 for instance draws 180W for its five speakers.

The NR1710, 250W for its seven speakers.

The NR 1200, 210W for two speakers.

(And the famed PM6006, 155W for its two.)

And unlike just about every other comparable stereo amp, it is likely to have a high pass control for two subs.

This looks nice...I've been trying to hold out for a slim receiver for my tele & turntable.
Going to sell my sound bar...and start with a pair of bookshelf speakers, center speaker & a sub.

The NR, I’ve no doubt, will, with a decent pair of speakers, mince even a good sound bar.

But it is stereo only. No centre speaker.

This would be more like it for you, especially if you plan to expand all the way to surround sound and Atmos.
