Which phones are much better ?

marcd5123 Publish time 27-11-2019 22:56:05

Well great phones either out or due out this year ..

LG G7 Coming soon
Sonys new XZ2 Premium New Snapdragon 845)(can't wait just goona be freaking awesome not even Samsung S9 has that chipset yet )
OnePlus 5T
Huawei Mate 10 Pro (brilliant specs)

That's just some I think their are a few more brands possibly .

So plenty their all will either give similar results or even possibly better Samsung's S9 I feel the later .

I recently upgraded my Sony Xperia Z5 which was a brilliant and very reliable handset to a Sonys Xperia XZ Premium and I really do believe this is the best phone iv ever had .iv had loads of phones over the year from Nokia's original 3210 in my early 20's to Samsung Sony Ericsson K750i to Samsung's Galaxy S5 and now back to Sonys.

I just feel Samsung are running out of fire now after the S7 I feel that Samsung phones are very lacklusterand it's time to see how great the competition has now seriously stacked up ....

I say watch this space noticeably trying not to be over Sony basied but I think Sony is goona shake things up this year as they are making a serious change and come back ..well my thoughts anyway .

And most of all be cheaper than the S9 and give flagship specs.

I have just come from the Mate 10 pro, sold it on here, i did like the phone but the samsung overall is definitely better also owned the 5T for a while, i liked ASOP system but found it lacking in other departments , also had the LG v30 ( i like phones lol) but i only lasted about a month with that before i sold it, great audio but again the samsungs are better. Never had a Sony phone as i didn't like the designs but will be keeping my eye out on the new device

Hmm.. I beg to differ mate.. see below:

I cannot see any current phone out there that's better than the S9.. they all have last year's CPU..

This phone has been a revelation since I got it pre launch.. I am going to give it a chance until another BSoD incident..

The price I paid was 20% off the RRP.. that's nearly half of other flagship such as the iPhone X..

Go for it mate ..! And good luck btw .

For me Samsung does not do it for me anymore I find their past few phones okay but getting lackluster personally .

I still feel that the competition has caught up now and Samsung are starting to run out of steam .

I'm getting the impression that the way I see it people are just buying Samsung because it's just '' Samsung '' just like Applehas done for many years .

Don't get me wrong I've been a massive fan for Samsung for many years and have owned my self several Galaxy models over the years including the first generation Galaxy .

But now I think it's time for someone to take the stand Samsung last 2 models become stagnate . Personally the S7 was the last real Samsung phone that made real headlines .

Anyway I say let's see what the rest of the competition brings to the table great tech ahead folks ...

It's upgrade time for me (it has been for some time, I've just been extremely lazy!) and this is one of the candidates. Is it worth taking the plunge or waiting for something else?

Good phone but over priced IMHO.Get an S7 or S8.

can anyone who upgraded from the s8 to s9 can you tell me is it worth it?
Im looking at getting either one today but if there is not a lot of difference i might go for the s8 as its a just over a hundred cheaper overall?
thanks

I upgraded from a s7 edge. Not a massive difference for me. I like the finger print reader in the back of the phone and the fact there is no home button but apart from that not much

Cheers mate. I'm coming from the S6 as I've been a due an upgrade for a while. I've been offered a free handset, 10GB of data, unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and all can be used in the EU and all for the same price as my existing line rental. Would it be worth going for the S9 or is the S8 actually better - not spec wise, but less glitches and problems as I know some handsets can disappoint in that regard.
