doesn't sound like it:
Why would they say the gear vr arrives 5 days after your sim free preorder arrives? I think it applies to all preorders, no matter where you buy S7 from in europe.
Samsung obviously got a lot of VR gear in stock that isn't selling. Wouldn't mind trying it but it doesn't affect my decision whether to buy the phone or not. I suspect I'll use it for a couple of hours and then put it into the box of tech that shall never ever be used again. I also store my portable games consoles, my routers when I change provider, a whole bunch of hard discs and various headphones and 3d glasses in said box along with loads of legacy cables.

That's interesting, I saw a tweet from CPW that says its contract only and I asked them through their web chat service and they said contract only too. I guess if it's in the T&C then it's fine. I think I'll wait for the official Samsung store to confirm if they have the offer first..

I like the look of the S7 EDGE but have a few questions:
1: Can I confirm there's only 1 memory size that being 32GB and that you will use micro SD cards to expand the memory?
2: I read that the use of cards can impact on the phones performance is this the case?
3: If I purchase this phone sim free (birthday present for gf who already has sim only contract) will I get the VR headset for free?
4: £500 for the EDGE 6 with 64GB or EDGE 7 32GB £640? Is it worth the extra £140 with half the memory?
Personally I'm an Apple user but my gf has always bought Samsung phones. My current phone is an iPhone 5, (previously iPhone 3GS), waiting on the iPhone 7 for upgrade. Never been interested in a Samsung but like the look of the EDGE 7. One thing I hate about Apple is the way they price discriminate on memory.... Also, the 16GB entry model!WTF!!! Like the idea of a 200GB SD card in the future when prices drop. Water and dust resistance is great also.

Not sure on the other points, but there is a 64gb model but it is only select countries. Of course Samsung don't say which countries. I've read the USA only gets 32gb so good chance we only get that as well.
I'm definitely interested in the edge but will wait for some reviews first. Not bothered about the pre-order vr bonus so I am willing to wait.

Ok. Thanks. I also understand that you cannot download apps to the SD card so I guess you would mainly use it for photos and vids!?

I think some apps can be moved to the sd card but that is dependent on the app. Also music is good to move as well to it.

Is it correct that we won't be getting the SnapDragon 820 Version & it is this version that is like to get alot of custom rom development ?

I think the new S7 is the best-looking Galaxy phone ever released and it fixed couple of major omissions, like poor battery and lack SD card in S6. The back has reduced camera hump, which was sticking out in S6 and looked terrible.
I have a S4 and may upgrade to S7 Edge but will have to see and feel it in person to decide.

I like the changes, ill have to see it in person to see if I want to go bigger than my current S6 Edge.
I ordered my Edge at launch and paid silly money, only to see prices fall fairly quick if I recall correctly.
The battery has been a joke, however much I try and convince myself otherwise. For the first time I wont be pre-ordering, ill wait to see reviews, and see if the price changes much. I love my Edge, the actual edge features are novelty nonsense at this point (to me at least) but its a sexy, impressive phone.
All that said, CEX are giving a reasonable trade in for my Edge so ill probably cave in, offload it and get the new one.

As an iPhone 6user I really do like the look of the S7 Edge. Was a massive Samsung Note fan having had the Note 3 & 4 but always ended up back on an iPhone.
For once I think Samsung have might have introduced a decent handset and I'm hoping a Note 6 might be brought out.
Keeping the iPhone at min until reviews are out and any teething problems are ironed out but very interested even though wasn't planning on coming away from Apple.
