When your battery capacity is not enough, would you like to change the phone or change the battery?
The current mobile phone batteries are basically non-detachable integrated design , we can not freely disassemble, when the battery has problems, can only take the phone to the store to find a professional repair or replacement, not convenient, and takes time and money.So when your battery capacity is not enough, would you like to change the phone or change the battery? sell the old phone and buy one with minimum 4000mah Usually a brand new phone can easily last 2 years before you start to notice it not lasting as long as it used to. By that time I’m normally wanting to upgrade anyway, so it’s never been an issue for me.
Even if I wanted to get the battery replaced in my iPhone, it will only cost about £70-80, not really expensive if it means the phone is like new again. It is a complete con when you consider how easy it should be to replace a battery.I'm there now with my phone which is almost three years old.I don't need to change it, it's only a phone, but probably will end up doing so. £70-80 is a large proportion of the cost of a beand new phone such as the excellent Xiaomi note 7..
replacing a battery means everything else will still be old..and not cost effective. if u have a Xiaomi it wont cost much moreto sell the old phone and buy a brand new one Yeah it depends on the phone obviously. If you’ve got one that only cost £200-300 new, and then you’ve owned that phoned for 2-3 years, then it won’t be worth anything and not cost effective as you say. But for me, I’ve got an iPhone XS which costs £1000 brand new, so £70-80 is well worth it. I also keep my phones in cases and have a glass screen protector, so my phone would be in good condition even when the battery gave up, therefore it would be cost effective for me to replace the battery. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 My s7 edge is getting old but still lasts for at least 22hrs mayb more with general use. (Unless you are a constant user) thats pretty poor..
my Xiaomi redmi.note 5 lasts me 2 days with heavy use (including watching videos 3-4 hours a day) or a week (light use) a £1000 phone is probably not very cost effective in the first place I was at 26hrs with 15% left earlier with about 5hours screen time so it's not bad but as long as as a phone can get you thru the day with good use then all good.imo
