Leaked footage from the alpha if anyone is interested.

I wish people wouldn't do that. It just means that publishers will further ID watermark similar closed tests in the future or, worse, just not run them at all.

BloodRose Publish time 27-11-2019 21:58:44

As was the original Watch Dogs demo and we all know what happened to that.

The problem is that Sony/Microsoft often make promises regarding future dev kit updates, optimisation techniques and API developments to publishers so they create game demos on Linux or FreeBSD PC's that run in a similar fashion to what they are promised.

Many of the promises from Sony and MS then never actually materialise so they're forced to scale things back, sometimes even at the last minute. Prior to console launches is even worse because games often need to be developed before any official dev kit or official hardware spec even exists at all.

Well if people make these vids available with thier name on them then they're at the mercy of the company the agreed to the NDA with

I doubt they'll stop doing them because of it though because it's free testing for them and secretly I'm sure they know there be leaks and if they know the game is in good condition they'll get extra publicity.
