I have 5 or 6 masks and so far I have only had to use the one you start with.I'm still not sure how I feel about it.
Contrast that with Alan Wake on my shield via grid games where I played the first few checkpoints and fell in love with it in the tutorial.
The mechanic (3 day cycle) is like no other so I guess it will take time..
