They've got redesigned boxes for games that NEED the New 3DS. Probably won't be enough to stop people buying the wrong games though.

Majora's Mask can play on a regular 3DS too, unlike the original which needed the N64's expansion pak.

But no issue for digital download as they could detect what system you are using
