To be honest mate I only started Zelda with a link to the past which I loved. Don't ever remember playing the nes ones. I've just listed the ones I remember owning.
Ahh you have missed out - all the Zelda games are fantastic I have played and loved them all, you need to do the nes ones if you get this - Robin Williams one of the greatest ever comedic actors and sadly gone even named his daughter Zelda after the awesome stupid getting lost princess from these games...
I have been playing video games for about 30 years and the Zelda ones are probably my favorite series....
Yeah I certainly will give them a whirl. I guess back in the day as a kid I was never into rpg games that much. I was always a platformer and fighting fan.
I reckon Nintendo have done a great thing here almost all of the games I want to play and want to show to my kids etc - I could get my original NES out of the cupboard and mess around getting it connected etc but with this it is done - roll on the SNES version.
Just about the same for me with that list Gradus and Galaga stand out , think the wife got it for me cus she wants old school Mario though. Have my pre order in and have checked around since. Seems to be selling out rather fast.
Already told the wife that I need this in my stocking for Christmas!

Shame they did not keep the original shape and original controllers, I suppose that is down to copyright as it seems it is made by a third party company. Still looks good for the money.
