I've always found the PS interface confusing and never really got on with the PS controllers. Personal preferences I guess. I bought a Pro just before Xmas to "dabble" with PSVR. Needless to say the PSVR kit is long gone. I still have the PS4 Pro but it's not been switched on in months.
Whilst the Pro has more exclusives, the majority of those don't interest me. The only PS exclusives I've ever enjoyed are the Uncharted games. So I've basically got a console sitting gathering dust "just in case" a great exclusive comes along.

Well there are loads, you're just missing the bit "that I like" data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

If I were you I would get a cheap PS4 slim to try it out before fully making the jump. This is what I did and I'm glad because the PS4 just didn't click with me and is now sitting gathering dust. There are so many things I don't like about the PS4 from the bland GUI, the noise it makes and don't get me started on the hand cramping controller. Sure, it has a few nice exclusives but the are mainly single player and will be over and done with in a few hours. I also have collected a large digital library that I would hate to not have access to.
Just don't go selling everything on a whim, try before you commit.

I agree with this although did chuckle that all the PlayStation has going for it is the games...kind of like, the GUI and controller are more important (with controller being fixed by buying something else if it fusses you that much). Also not sure on the 'few hours' comment, many games these days can take many hours...I mean, Horizon Zero Dawn and Bloodborne are around 30 hours each, God of War 20 hours and Last of Us & Uncharted 4 are around 15 hours each...and have online too.

Uncharted 4 did not take anywhere near 15 hours. More like 6.

Not a chance. I finished it on the hardest difficulty in less than half that. It'd only take 15 hours if you are going for all the trophies (I know this because I was sad and did it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7).

So all the people that posted are lying then? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I know from my playthrough it took a similar time. Anyway it's OT, the point stands - there's loads of games and even uncharted won't be 'done with in a few hours' unless you rush through it and have no desire to play online.
