The last one who came on here bragging that he was a Sky employee (about five years ago) got into so many arguments with people asking him questions and complaining about Sky that he was banned within a month. signed up last week via quidco with £100 cash back & £100 M&S vouchers.
All going great until i found out today that i did a typo mistake on our address.
Instead of house number No 2 i typed in 5 by mistake.

Phones up Sky and after waiting ages gets hold of customer service who then puts me on hold for around 30 mins after i explained the typo problem.
She transfers meto bonny Scotland and after another 40 minutes trying to rectify my house number from 5 to 2, they advise me they can't.
I am told that they will have to cancel my contract then go online go through the motions again and the sky website will tell me that i already have an account and tell me to phone sky on a specific number.
They advised me that when i phone this number i tell them the issue and that they have put a note on my account to verify this and also to confirm the deal (quidco/ M&S vouchers), so that i can get the same deal even though its runout.
Anyway so i phone the number and the guy says nothing i can do as they should not of cancelled my account in the first place and that i would have to wait until the cancellation has gone through the system and then start from scratch.
This means i have totally lost out on a fairly good deal which i cannot get back!
