i was watching transformers 2d the other night, and some of the effects are probably the best ever put onto the screen, it will be interesting when i finally see it in 3D as i know it has had mixed reviews. but what a spectacle

i bought Immortals and Transformers. I've been waiting for a lot of these titles to come down, and i am considering getting Captain America, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs Aliens as well. I've already owned Coraline but it had a disc fault, so i might get that again, but it had horrible amounts of crosstalk on my tv so i'm not sure..

yeah i wanted monsters vs aliens but only could get 2 , so i went for how to train your dragon and megamind..im building up a nice collection of 2D/3D combos now...and i can enjoy the 2D versions until i have enough for the VT50(or samsung es8000) to enjoy the 3D versions...

I thought monsters vs aliens looked better in 3d. The widescreen films like dragons just don't feel as immersive. I thought both were great films though, I've got US 2d release of dragons with the extra short.

i was actually thinking that 3d movies that are 1:85:1 will always look better than 2:35:1 because of the black bars.

monsters vs aliens looks great in 2d so god only knows how good it looks in 3D if it was just £9.99 id bite (wishful thinking)

I'm not sure if there are 2D versions with this set on the same disc's or if there are separate 2D BD disc's or if it is just three 3D BD's either way it's still a good price

I wouldn't mind a price drop on the cloudy/monster house/open season boxset either, but that's much pricier
