It doesn't look like the Cyber Monday has further affected the price of the Sony Bravia KD55XE9005 at JL here. Who knows if any Christmas sales might push it down?

Hard to be sure, but I get the feeling it will fall further in the Christmas Sales, especially if this Christmas isn't as buoyant as last year. To gauge this, I went to pricespy.co.uk and searched a similar model from last year (KD-55XD9305). This went down on Black Friday last year, and then continued to fall into the new year, with March being the lowest point. So, fingers crossed, the sales will deliver for you.

I bought the Panasonic DMP-UB300 from John Lewis for £129 today, which is a great price for an AVForums recommended 4K UHD Blu-ray Player. Currys do the UB390 version which adds a second HDMI for the same price (even better!), but I didn't need that and I preferred John Lewis's two year guarantee.

Thats very kind of you.
Did you get the elite/harmony deal or just the harmony ?
I presume it comes with the hub ?
How much would you want for it ?
I assume postage would be around a tenner ?
And I agree if we do proceed with this then we should take it to classifieds to keep this above board data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Harmony elite with hub and emitters for the £140, and yes that would be around the postage cost.I got 2x the bundles which came with Echo dot, but I'd be keeping the echo dot as I do need 2 of them. From what I understand they're not packaged together or anything like that, so it's not like there would be a dot-sized hole. They just send two separate products.
Was a bit surprised they didn't stick these on again for Cyber Monday.I'm sure if you can wait they'll be back on by Boxing Day if you wanted to have the benefit of buying direct from Amazon with free postage etc.You should be aware with these that when I've had cause to ask Logitech for units to be returned they've always referred me back to Amazon to get them to sort it, which is obviously a hassle if you're not the original purchaser.

Many thanks for your response mate. The problem i had with the Samsung KS7000 last year was waiting for the price to fall, it sure did fall, but went very quickly out of stock and never came back. This is the risk i am facing again.

I'm not in a huge rush for one to be honest, my remote is still fully functional, but from previous experience the buttons will eventually give up (was the volume on my last remote)
There is always teh chance that Logitech customer support would offer a 50% off code if they were unable to replace/repair.
Although as I understand it Logitech don't have the ridiculously good customer service policy that they used to have ?

As I say, the last time I had a sticky button type situation they were completely unhelpful and backed me off to Amazon. Who in fairness just credited the remote. But that isn't that helpful out of sales season. So now I take the proactive approach and replace them every year. Usually makes a couple of quid too if you time it right.
