whiteheads on forehead

Hi all,I keep gettings these, they go for a day or 2 and come back,I find if I shower or bath the dryness of my skin helps to get rid of them.
Anyone got any tips to get rid of them.
Is diet a cause? I dont eat much fatty stuff though I have olice oil every day in a dip.
Are facial scrubs any good?
My gp gave me some cream but didnt help.
Thanks

Diet is defintely a major factor. As is hygiene.

However some people are just genetically predisposed to getting spots due to their skin type etc.

Do you have oily skin by any chance? If so what is your hygiene routine? Do you just wash your face once a day in the shower?

If you're really interested in resolving the issues, and don't mind paying, a visit to a good dermatologist can work wonders. They can give invaluable advice, tips, and recommendations.

A GP can only do so much.

You should definitely use a product on your face. Water alone isn't sufficient, and likely won't help remove any impurities in your pores.

There are products on the market for dry skin, that aren't harsh and won't cause redness and even more dryness.

As you probably know anything too harsh will just dry your skin out more.

If you suffer from extremely dry skin then it can definitely help.

A good moisturiser will work wonders.

Personally dry skin is easier to manage than oily skin.

Read up on rosacea. I get it from time to time. It's hard to stop completely but doctors can prescribe a tablet or cream to help combat it.
