Well its on and what a job it was too.
Took 5 of us about 2.5 hours, most was spent moving it about 10-12 feet from just outside the garden and onto the patio, where it could be lifted onto my A frame (which worked really well). It kept getting stuck in the mud and wedged between trees.
We ended up putting onto the A frame then lifting the end of it up using an engine crane so it had a level plane to move along. We used 5 broom shanks underneath it to 'fairly easily' move it into place.

Need to season it for 3 days, making the fire larger each day.
Still need to vent it through the roof and sort the ground work out (patio/decking/broken quarry tiles, not sure yet).
Also need to run some mortar around it between the base and oven and paint it.

Possibly, but might season it for longer than recommended as I don't fancy it cracking.

Incidentally, the working surface was an old marble fire surround bought it dirt cheap, and cut down using an angle grinder.

That looks great. How does it work? Where do the logs go to generate the heat?I cant figure it out from the picture.

The wood goes inside the oven in a stack then lit. When the fire goes out and it's just embers they are pushed to the side and you cook directly on the oven floor.
It can stay hot for 4 hours as the whole thing retains heat.
More expensive ones can stay hot all night and still be 250 deg the next morning to cook bread.
