Yes I do, it's a dirty tax which is rewarded to those who have the means to create green energy.
It is actually a miniscule amount. You have to look at all the properties in Britain and take away all those that are south facing. At the least that will leave 75%. ( in all probability it will be more like 80%). Then add to this all the properties left that won't ( or will no longer fit PV panels) and you will get over 95% of the properties. It should only take a matter of pennies on each bill per quarter to pay the FIT. It is hardly going to break the bank !!!
But what you should be doing by generating electricity at home is cutting the initial costs of the electricity generating companies which should then be passed back to consumers............... if the electricity generators choose not to do this by blaming 'increases in wholesale prices' it might be considered profiteering I suppose... The way I understood it is that it was supposed to balance out.
I just meant I didn't realise my "free" electricity might end up costing my elderly neighbour money... even if it's not much.

You could always go one step further and put a £1 coin in your elderly neighbours Christmas card every year!
I think in 9 years time a £25 increase will mean little if electricity prices keep rising at the rates they are now.
