I wish I could get the biggest job in the UK by putting in a 12 week graft at work.

Incredible.

Michael Gove's statement in full:

Yep that's how you become a PM. Do 12 weeks work. Pretty sure it's a long process of being a party member, getting elected as an MP, working for years for your constituents, getting a cabinet position...

I was commenting on the reasons why anyone would support him.

Depending on your view point, he's done very well over the last 3 months with regards the Leave campaign.

His career in government has been a disaster. He was sacked from his post in education, leaving the department in such a shambles his successor has been unable to do anything with it in 2 years.

where he's been abysmal

Guido has it with paragraphs and line breaks. The BBC has it continuous as part of their live streaming. I haven't seen how it was originally done.

Gove has been elsewhere since the cabinet, chief whip etc. Anyway he's thrown his hat in and YMMV as to whether he will be a successful PM or not.

Think he's a decent guy (MG) but not convinced he's PM material.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Not that keen on TM either so that leaves Boris.

Well there's some decent jobs going right now. England manager, Labour Leader, Prime Minster. I guess if 12 weeks of graft is all that's needed I'll get cracking on my CV and see you all in 12 weeks.
