EU vote - Do you regret your decision?
I'm not sure if this has been asked, I couldn't see a poll. In light of the decision, and from seeing reports that people regret their decision to vote to exit, I wondered if there were any people here regretting this now.So did you vote to exit and now wish you didn't, or vice versa? I voted out and I am still happy with my decision. Voted Stay and still convinced was the right way to vote
awaiting to be proved otherwise I think the media are trying to make something of this idea that some are regretting their vote.
Its only been a few days, and its far too early to see how this is going to play out.
If we had the vote again, I think many of those that voted 'safe' but really wanted out would have the courage to join the rest of the leavers. I am sure the result would be like 70-30 out I voted out and still happy with the choice. A lot of arguments are being blown out of proportion due to anger and disappointment, which is understandable given how strongly people felt on both sides. Things will work out, it will just take time, there are processes that need to be gone through to move forward. Trying to rush things will not help anyone I imagine given the scale of work to come. So, no-one is regretting voting how they did ?I think the reports you heard were greatly exaggerated Dark Horse data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Voted exit and enjoyed it so much I'd love to do it again. Every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Voted to remain and everything since has reinforced my decision.
This isn't likely to be the best place too see results reflecting any regret though. I'd hazard a guess those with regret were unlikely to be seeking out political discussions in the first place. Good point Not sure it would be that much, but I'm certain a rerun this Thursday would have a stronger 'Leave' result (now that Project Fear is evaporating before our eyes).
