Starter for ten, Women in NHS ambulance service 'hounded for sexual favours'
Where ever and when ever people are together this is going to happen, work places, places of entertainment eg pubs, clubs, gyms, like I said before some of it is flirting, some is abuse.

Can't condone the alleged drug use, however, do take issue with some who played around with male prostitutes and rent boy, fundimentally the same but one sounding more sinister than the other. Unfortunately it only serves to create ambiguity for the likes of Vaz to confabulate and retain their positions, maybe that was point, who knows... Anyway, back to Fallon on the Fallon thread (irony). It appears his knee touching was something of pattern and alluding to more.No doubt we will get farm gate family press address, some point soon.

Yes , I made the same point in the opening post.
And what is even more infuriating isthe likes of celebrity offenders that then claim to be seeking “therapy”, eg. Weinstein, Spacey , as if they have some sort of illness that would excuse their behaviour , little more than a desperate , cynical ploy for sympathy even.
They should at least have the intelligenceto get some sound public relations advise before makingthese ludicrousjustifications.

Doesn't surprise me at all with the extreme arrogance/rudeness of one or two consultants with their god complexes.

Sure enough... it emerges today that Andrea Leadsom reportedlycomplained about him , allegedly telling her, suggestively, he knew where she could warm her cold hands up.

You can be flippant if you like, but it's clear that many women feel uncomfortable over suggestive remarks dressed up as/passed off as harmless banter.

Not so long ago it was harmless banter, but these days it seems harmless banter said 15 years ago can now be regurgitated and viewed as sexual harassment, in fact as actionable offensive sexual harassment.
Times have changed and peoples' attitudes should adapt to meet the moving line between banter and harassment. This is however a grey area and I wonder how the legal profession will view the subjective matter.
