Not really fair to base pay rises on performance I feel in every profession .
Frontline health workers , particularly nurses , deserve every penny they get and more .
This is my opinion and one that is based on recent personal experience

So increasing NHS wages won't help retain GPs... Oh well...
Your very same link says that 1 in 4 of the NHS workforce is from abroad.
And as we still have a larger (and increasing) NHS workforce you guys aren't doing very well in demonstrating that they are all leaving due to low wages.
We attract more to the UK than leave.
So if the wages are attractive we shouldn't have any vacancies as there would be plenty of doctors and nursesapplying for these jobs. Right?
