However interested that you feel the posters are left wing as I feel they come from both sides and more importantly from no side

City University students vote for campus ban on Sun, Mail and Express

So a University famous for teaching journalism, has decided that its students are not allowed to read newspapers that don't fit the 'left liberal profile'.

Students should be allowed to read political views from all sides.

I would even suggest that the surprise Brexit and Trump wins were missed by the BBC and others, simply because journalists did not take seriously the opinions that were not the same as theirs.

This will simply continue if we teach our students to not look beyond the Guardian.

Interesting link within the link above..
Free Speech University Rankings 2016, our second annual analysis of the state of free speech in the British academy. Our findings prove, if there was ever any doubt, that campus censorship is no longer a problem in UK academia – it’s an epidemic.
Campus censorship: it’s worse than you think, but there is hope

They'll still be able to, as it was only a tiny minority who even voted and they have no way to enforce the ban. Pointless protest votes like that are rarely representative of any open minded majority.

Have they started burning them?

They can always wrap them round their bodies to keep the chill out when sleeping on the streets after a good night out.
