Mandela effect. Could be Woman or People. Not that it matters but its great to keep people distracted to what actually is going on.

It is impossible to make the mouth shape fit "people" If he hasn't got the personal conviction
to admit and apologise what sort of PM would he make?

Interesting you say that as I take the opposite view. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I watched Politics Live on BBC Two for the first 45 minutes but had to leave just as PMQs started so heard about the 'stupid woman' allegations via Twitter. I quickly looked at a 3 second video clip on my phone and I was sure JC had said 'stupid woman'.
Then I returned to my 55" LG OLED data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 and continued watching PMQs from where I left-off. The PM was in full panto mode, "Oh yes he will! Oh no he won't" with all the Tory benches shouting their replies, guffawing till they were at risk of apoplexy, jeering mockingly and baring for festive blood as the camera swung to JC looking less than amused and then, looking at the mob opposite he opened his mouth and muttered .... . Hang-on! Both me and my partner looked at each and said simultaneously "Stupid people".
Rewind and watch again and we both agreed the lips looked like he said "Stupid people".
Talking about it later we both agreed it actually made sense due to the stupid behaviour of those members opposite with their shouting, laughing, jeering and baring behaviour when discussing such a serious matter.
Anyway, as others have pointed-out whatever he said was true and if he can be accused of lying then so can other members who swore he said what JC later confirmed he didn't say.
I think the best summing-up of the current political situation comes from Danny Dyer who didn't stop at 'stupid'. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Funny that the uproar is over whether he said 'woman' or not - not the where he said 'stupid'. So in parliament its OK to call someone stupid but not a woman.

If Jeremy was a credible Opposition Leader, he would have taken the stage and humiliated the Prime Minister for her pantomime tomfoolery, rather than muttering "stupid ....." under his breath, sat in his seat.
