As a shift worker this can't come soon enough as that 13 hour night shift is a killer if your unlucky to get caught.

Make a normal clock, but for the hour hand you make it as a "V" shape, so one hole in the center but 2 arms coming out from it.
Put a little Sun on the end of one of them, and a snowflake on the end of the other hour hand.
In the summer or winter you will know which hour it is.
Then you never have to mess with the clock every again.
