I'd be happy too, don't really care which one we opt for.It seems to an anachronism from days gone by that we don't really need any more.

The only issue I can think of will be that the USA will no doubt stick to their one hour shift twice a year so time differences between us and them will alter for longer.

The good news is that TVs, PVRs etc. won't be affected because daylight saving schedules are transmitted as part of the digital TV information.
