So if you don't like the look of someone it's fine to use violence, because they "could" have a weapon?

If a Police Officer had escorted her firmly off the premises would you be complaining about Police Brutality?

So in the event of any encroachment towards a minister of state, or just about anybody, they must be allowed to pass without assault or restraint, even if they then produce a knife, gun, battery acid or milkshake?

Why do you think that members of the government have a security detail?

SteakAndCake Publish time 26-11-2019 01:01:57

I don't recognise that as violence. It was restraint.

shoestring25 Publish time 26-11-2019 01:01:58

Actually the police did escort them out. They didn't resist and were calm and cooperative, so no force was necessary.

There was no justification for that amount of force, so it was brutality.

Solomon Grundy Publish time 26-11-2019 01:01:58

Restraint from what?

SteakAndCake Publish time 26-11-2019 01:01:59

Progressing any further into the room and possibly attacking a member of public.

Sonic67 Publish time 26-11-2019 01:02:00

Why do you think the security detail doesn't just anyone getting near the minister with maximum force?

Solomon Grundy Publish time 26-11-2019 01:02:00

He could have done that simply by blocking her path. Or better yet allowed her to continue and called the police, since progressing into the room was not threatening anyone.
