I have just read this on the BBC website:
Marine Le Pen wants the pension age cut to 60 and to "renationalise French debt", which she argues is largely held by foreigners.
Emmanuel Macron wants to cut 120,000 public-sector jobs, reduce public spending by€60bn (£50bn; $65bn), plough billions into investment and reduce unemployment to below 7%.
Crikey, glad I am not French, what a choice!

Faust may find that France is not the idyll he's expecting when he jumps ship. If they let him in at all that is.

Macron will let him in Le Pen won't. Then again if he's a pure Anglo Brit he may have a chance.

Seems to be a bit ofnoise in th media about more Russian hackers.
They really should get some better IT people, or are they just getting the story out there in case the result doesn't go the right way ?

I suppose anyone to the left of Le Pen might be considered leftists.

It's funny but it seems that to the British Media it seems the centre ground is where the Labour Party currently pitches it's tent.
Blair's government was considered to be centrist at the time, but in the current scheme of things would be considered to be on the right.
I do laugh when they say Le Pen's party is far right, because their polices, particularly with regard to the economy are actually more hard left.
