Unless tget become a functioning Party with some policies I don't think there's a hope in hell of any of them getting elected. The way they are currently tying themselves in knots to excuse their hypocrisy of not having a by-election does not bode well.

I think if May loses 3 more MP's (might be more) then her slim grip on power is gone, and in that moment the IG will hold some of the balance of power in this parliament. Hence the softly soft response to the 3 amigos quitting.
When will it penetrate your mind that I have no interest in betting or care all that much if what I post actually happens. So change the record or put me on ignore. Or join twitter and ask Peston and co if they want to bet. You might get the response you are looking for.

That one was fine, 4 years ago, but it is increasingly being used aggressively to get someone to back down.

I've said he can bet a penny against my £10. Or it can be nothing. I don't care. Either I'm right or the charity he picks gets money. But whatever.

If the IG get themselves together, as @Pacifico alluded to me above, in terms of policy etc, then I see no reason why they wouldn't hold some power within Westminster. Especially if their numbers swell post-Brexit.
Reading between the lines, it's clear Corbyn et al are worried about more defections than they're letting on too, hence the official change in attitude toward a 2nd referendum today. Not many would have foreseen the Tories jumping into bed with the DUP, very possible the IG could find themselves in a similarly comfy situation at the next election. Plenty of damage been done to the Tories and Labour over the last 12 months. Not as nice a prospect to voters anymore. Myself included.

Trouble at mill. Blair supports the leavers. That has got to be awkward.

Barking up the wrong tree comes to mind asking me to bet on anything, I'm not afraid of being wrong. Plus I donate to charity out of a desire to help people, not to prove a silly point on the internet. So this is getting rather tedious, hence why I respond politely or don't respond at all.
