I consider myself a hand wringing liberal but I still can't see what she's done that warrants a ban. She's certainly on the political right, but I don't see how she's incited hatred or made and calls for violence.

I'm not the British Home Office but I imagine it's pretty difficult to get yourself banned from entering any country. Also, just looking at her Wikipedia page and the article about her previous actions I'd guess that the ban came about as a result of more than just leafleting in Luton.

I'm not sure that is true. The US can ban you for just about any level of drugs charge.

she needs to be more scientific with her 'experiment'
- make it a comparative study and next leaflet some place in Alabama with that article Marv linked to

I'm also not US immigration :0)

Why 3 anti-Islam activists were refused entry to the UK

I do like this comment in that article,

"These are people who have huge reach on social media, they are peddlers of online hate, and as our recent State of Hate report highlighted, the online reach of right-wing hate preachers can have disastrous consequences."

"The irony is that the far right have long called for the British government to take firm control of our borders. Now they are doing just that." data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Excellent idea. It's almost as if there are 'extremists' in all walks of humanity that will be equally enraged over someone picking on their imaginary friend.

It cannot and should not be a crime to insult any religious entity.Blasphemy is a victim-less crime. It's absurd. No, you shouldn't make racist remarks about a religion's followers, or incite violence against a group for their beliefs, but criticising, or insulting any idea including religion is a major constraint on freedom of speech.

While she may face robust personal opposition, there's no way any US court would charge her with anything.First amendment protects her rights for more than any other country on Earth.

She wasn't blocked because of what she said, she was blocked because, '...her presence in the UK is not conducive to the public good.'It's like any other public order offence and is done to prevent the risk of disorder. The Home Office felt that her presence in the country would lead to problems so they blocked her.

As Krish suggested, maybe she should try the same "social experiment" in Alabama with leaflets proclaiming that Jesus was homosexual and see how she gets on?I get the feeling being arrested would be the least of her problems.
