I haven't accused anyone of racism in this thread! The first time racism was raised was by Sonic, and the second time by Ed Selley. So it's my fault this thread has become dominated by racism?
But then I was mocking Damo's generalisation about labour supporters (or more specifically, what their leadership thought of their supporters), as you well know. So yes, it's a silly assertion, but so was Damo's. I have never said they were all BNP supporters in any other context. And the same kind of generalisation was being used by the other side in brandishing all labour supporters as communists or Stalinists. Context is everything.

Good question.
I would continue that sentence by saying, given the BOE have already devalued the pound by 30% over the last few years.

Good point and a fat lot of good it has done.
(but you only have 30 words, remember!data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)

Not directly, but you've made thinly veiled accusations:
So either make a proper comment / accusation and clarify what you mean, or stop making these pathetic snide remarks!

I do think they are farther right than the tories. It's well known the tories have tried to capture the middle ground, and are operating within a coalition. It's not an extreme opinion to say that. It's factual. They are farther right than the tories, and we can attribute some of their recent support to that. That's not misrepresenting them.
If we can't discuss something as mainstream as that viewpoint without it being construed as a provocation, then we can't have a political discussion at all.

It seems perfectly reasonable to request someone to clarify what they mean when they make vague political statements.
Is it their welfare policy, NHS policy, immigration policy, taxation policy??
(Do you actually know what any of their policies are?)

Why don't you explain why you think their policies are left of the tories. I'm all ears.

I never said any such thing - as usual you're the one making the vague claims.
