We really got lucky with this. He really wanted an almost untreated wood finish guitar, that was hopefully not brown. They did have a 2013 50's tribute Gibson Les Paul Studio in Gold, but he didn't like the look (too flashy) and this one that he chose definitely sounded better. He is so happy with it
