Spiderman #700 (will contain spoilers)
So to the people that have read the last issue, what are your thoughts ? Hard to comment without it all being spoilers but I always like Ramos artwork and enjoyed the story.Like all the covers as well and will pick up a set at somepoint along with the other mosiac final issue covers to match cover A.Actual storyline ..
Not to sure where this will go but I like some points of it.Nice for a baddie to see things from PP side of the coin and all he has had to deal with.If that would be enough to turn him from the dark side not too sure but the way I read it he now thinks all the events that happened to peter happened to him and no memory of his life. Or is it a mixture of both memories.I also think PP memory that is left behind will be his soul as well for whenever they want to remove Doc Ock from his body.
The good point in the story is that normally it is written how it would be easy for a good guy to be a bad guy but they don't cross the line so this is a clever reverse which has been done before but not in such a major way.I can see the Batman becoming a Joker if he wanted but not the other way having said that Two Face has shown as trying to be good but always failing at some point so maybe depends on the badguy.
I'd put money on Amazing Spider-man being back before the 2nd new Spider-man film is out (is that summer '14 ?), if not sooner but probably not this year in comic releases. Interesting last page to superior spiderman Kind of expected it to be honest. Can you send me the spoiler please It's all over newsarama or probably even marvel.com by now.
But basically...
Mind swap between Peter and Doc Ock, Doc Ock body is about to die and Peter is trapped in it somehow he gets Doc Ock to experience all his memories so he thinks (?) he has lived that life and appreciates what Peter has done but thinks it wasn't enough so he vows to be a Superior Spider-man (for about 25 issues I reckon). I didn't.
I think the covers before this issue were great, the on with spider-man with doc ocks arms had loads of people thinking spidey would get them but I didn't read one post about the other way round.
I thought Alpha would be back and Peter go on a break for a while. Sorry, we were talking about the last page of Superior Spider-Man #1 whoops, my bad.

Yep no big surprise but I thought they might hide him for more than one issue, take back my statement about 25 issues and make it 12-15 now. I see dan slott is at the convention in feb , should be interesting
