I loved Rebus. Idid the whole series in a bout a month. Cracking books each one a winner. I think my favourite was the cold case one , I forget the name. Reacher appears in the same vein but maybe a little less thinking and a lot more violence ! Easy read and addictive .

Talking of rebus , ken Scott . Now that's perfect casting .

There has been filming recently in Edinburgh of a Stephen Fry production of one of the Rebus novels. Don't know which novel or who is cast but will be keeping an eye out for it.

Also watched an interview with Ian Rankin recently and apparently there will be another Rebus novel soon!

Sorry, off topic! Looking forward to starting this series though, just bought Killing Floor on eBay!

.........and on the flip side you have John Hannah!

Are they. All written. In such. Short sentences ?

Definitely will be data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I've read most Rebus and all the Bosch books and Reacher is on a par with them. Lee Child has a writing style that keeps you reading, just like Michael Connelly does.

I think Cruise bought the rights a while ago didn't he. I just can't fathom how he thought he was suitable for the role, narcissism in the extreme!
There's a few good suggestions for alternative leads on the trailer on You Tube; even Tom Hardy.
Horrendous casting.

I think for an older jack ,- maybe lNesson. But then he his pretty much playing the same role as in Taken
Hardy , while wider and bulkier , still is quite short . Certainly not 6,5
I thought maybe lundgren , but your not going to get the audience and he can't really act.
Bruce willis , too old and not big enough. Plus same role as die hard
Back in the day , Arnie would have made a ( to look at ) good reacher, but would have bought cheesy comedy to it
Actors in today who old play him , and still draw an audience , are few and far between .
Who was the bloke who played wolverines brother in wolverine. He could do it . Maybe m about e right size and could bulk up.

Fair point, but he'd be more convincing than Cruisedata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Couple of leftfield ones - "The Rock", who is now apparently an actor and certainly has the stature, or the fella who played Drogo in Game of Thrones?

wookielover Publish time 25-11-2019 04:40:28

Yeah I'd I'd go with the rock or vin diesel ?

I'd always pictured him a bit like Everett McGill was in Under Siege 2. But he's only 6 foot 2 and a half so still a bit on the short side ....... are you reading this Mr Cruise!!!

What next? A remake of Dirty Harry with Alan Carr playing him? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
