Well...finished Cold Days. All I can say is - THIS IS AWESOME. By far, in my opinion, the best Dresden Files book by a long way.

Joined audible recently & am working my way through all the (Unabridged) Iain M. Banks books i can find & i have to say am really enjoying having them read a very nice experience in fact because there narrated by the same person (Peter Kenny) it makes for a very consistent listen.

How i miss Mr Banks books !

I've been doing audiobooks for a while now, long car journeys and sick of dull radio stations. Part of those I have done have been the culture series and as you say, the narration by peter kenny has been pretty good.

On the dreaded tube myself but yes have been quite impressed with Mr Kenny am about half way through the culture series so far & really enjoying the fact there unabridged unlike his non scfi culture books which is a shame, maybe Dune after data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

LOTR/hobbit and game of thrones got me through marathon training - its amazing how absorbed you get especially running in forests/quarries etc. the story can take over sometimes

I've been listening to The Martian via Audible. Ever since I had noisy neighbours in an old flat about 10 years ago I can't go to sleep without listening to something with headphones on. I normally go for podcasts but Audible and the sleep function have made a nice change. I almost wish my commute was longer.
