I used Audible too, but have since cancelled after moving countries.

Was great when I was in the UK and using my UK credit card, but once I moved to NZ and had to change my billing details to my NZ credit card, the available titles range was cut dramatically because of publishing rights.I cancelled my membership 6 months ago and told Audible customer service I was doing it because of the sheer number of titles not available for purchase purely based on my geographic location.Got a nice replay back saying they totally agree and gave me a $20 voucher anyway.

But apart from that, its a great service!

Thanks for the recommendation for audible.co.uk, I had a look but thought the price for one book was high, maybe I'm used to paying less for paperbacks.

Is this the going rate for an audio book?

Single book costs are high on Audible, but if you take out one of there subscription plans which you can cancel at any time, this includes at least one book a month so its way cheaper that way, plus you then get discounts like 20% off books.Works out a bit cheaper then.

Yep, definitely take out a subscription.£7.99 is very cheap for unabridged version of recent books I find.I had a result as I cancelled my subscription for a couple of months and then got an email offering me 3 month's subscription for £3.99 instead of £7.99.

Really enjoying the new Jack Reacher book the Affair.I don't think I'd ever buy that in hardback or paperback as the guy narrating the unabridged version is the character for me now.I absolutely love these audio books, even makes the washing up more bearable listening to one data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Interesting that I have gone to the site a few times today, either I get offered 3 months half price at £3.99 or the first month free.

But it changes everytime I go on the site.

Lee Child books are brilliant

I was surprised to get offered it as a previous customer.Might consider knocking it on the head again in future and see what they offer me to come back data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'm 1/2 way through "Die Trying" - the second one I thinkl?

It's a different narrator to "Killing Floor" - much better. I'm loving it.
