I've given away most of my old physical books except my old climbing guide books and some other sentimental ones.

Digital.
Can be cheaper. I've had them free or 99p from Amazon.
Can bookmark pages.
Can search within the book for words.
Can read on my Kindle, laptop, tablet, phone.
Can carry a huge amount of books around with me. Before a holiday I buy several to take with me but I don't have the weight of several books.
Easy to choose new books.
Can read in bed via the backlight.
Can adjust the font to different styles or sizes.
Can get Alexa to read the book out.
Kindle is smaller and lighter than the physical book.

The Kindle's built in dictionary is a great feature too.

Physical books for me, but then that's because I am a tightwad and generally buy them from charity shops!
I do pick up the occasional Kindle book, usually when on offer, so I have a few digital books to read when I go on holiday.

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Id never do that with a book, even with paperbacks I don't open the book up very much as so not to have a crease in the spine most of my books you be able to put them on sale again as new, in fact I seen some on shop shelf's in worse condition.

As to the original question, I prefer to read on my paperwhite, its a lot easier to hold even if I was going to beak the back of a paperback its sill easier and very easy with one hand. I can also expand the text to what ever suits me. I dont need to use book marks or remeber where I'm up to I just switch of and when I switch on again I'm at the right page.
I picked up a book I been looking for a while that goes for silly money in physical form but picked up for £2.39 on download this week.
Then again if there both the same price I go for the book, I collected books before the digital media and like to still do. And if non fiction I often go back for reference on something I find harder to do on a digital format.
So I'm not voting one way or the other they both have there fores and against.

Honestly, I love both.
I love having a house full of books on the shelf, I just find that really comforting. But I also love having books on my phone for when I'm out and about and don't want the bulk of a book.

My favourite would be a real book for many reasons. When travelling I stick to magazines if I need to read. Kindle is incredibly useful though.
