The y pipe is a gtc titanium and the mid section and rear boxes are stainless steel made by Toyo sports.

When I saw the thread title my immediate thought was "12-bore shotgun". I was disappointed when I found that it wasn't asking how to get rid of a toy helicopter!

I gather this is for your GTR, to be honest drone is the least of your worries data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
The only thing I can think of is to buy some insertable baffles that are cut to the required length, but this will reduce the overall sound ofthe exhaust and with the amount of gas that thing pumps out would be difficult to keep secured.

Yes it is for the GTR! Never had a stainless steel one fitted before so wasn't familiar with the drone!
Took it to the guy who fitted it and we went for a drive and he said they all sound the same i.e. similar to mine where people change to stainless steel and remove the silencers. He thought it sounded very good!
May live with it for a weeks to see how I get on. It's not a daily drive so may be able to live with it.

Technically speaking the rear boxes still have 2 silencers although small! They have been removed from the y pipe though. Didn't want to lose the overall sound just the drone element.
Posted on this forum as thought someone may have invented a noise cancelling device for the drone which could be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket inside the car!

Noise cancelling headphones? (Kidding)
That tech would only work on your ears - it works by pushing back at the same frequency and amplitude as the incoming sound wave. As the sound is coming from all down the car and heard at several positions it can’t work.
I think your best bet is to work out if it’s vibration that could be damped with weight or isolated with rubber mounts or you’ll have to change the shape of the pipe to change the resonant frequency to something out if that rev range.
