It wasn’t a Stinger GT I saw after checking Google images

The version I saw in Seoul had four exhaust and looked like a Maserati from many angles.

I was a passenger in a 3.3 Stinger GT-S yesterday (think that's the top spec not sure)I was in 2 minds. The first 48 miles as a 6'6 back seat passenger was not great, didn't help that the driver was a 6 footer and had his seat back meaning I couldn't quiet get my legs comfy despite enough room for my knees. My head was on the roof cushions at all times so this isn't a car for tall adult passengers.
The 2nd 48 miles was as a front passenger, plenty of room and very comfortable. The ride was fun, plenty of power and it does get the looks, certainly stands out.The trim bothered me though, the plastic doesn't look really bad although once you've run your finger over it you realise it's very cheap.
I wasn't keen on the infotainment system, its responsive and well loaded although the horrible bezel surrounding it spoils the look completely.
Its very odd, on paper I like it, it ticks most of the boxes although when I sat down to do the financials, it doesn't stack up (when considering the competition)Sure, KIA have made a very nice car although I feel it's priced wrong for the UK market. They want something to go against the Germans although ze Germans have a track record and have pretty much cracked the comfort/trim quality issue.
Then there is the depreciation problem with a Kia, I can see these 40k motors going for nearer 20k in a couple of years.
All that said, it looks great and I'd be happy driving one although wouldn't be interested in owning one... If that makes sense.

If that's the case, I could be interested but they are fairly rare motors still. I'd be interested in having a look at one for sure.

I wouldn't discount one at all, I would discount at the current price although if they were coming onto the 2nd hand market at the early 20's I would be very interested. The GT-S is a stunning looking car at almost every angle, the V6 with a 3.5 ltr engine is a great combo.

Supply into the UK is limited so I’d venture that resale value will be relatively high and likely above the 50% after two years predicted above.

I'm not so sure, as a passenger, if you press your leg against the centre console (housing transmission and cup holders) you can feel the whole thing move.Same as your other knee when pushed against the door cards.I am susceptible to cabin noise and I could hear bits squeaking on speed bumps and noticed some vibration at times. The cabin is not great, I'd give it 5/10, despite how rare it currently is in the UK I have a feeling that the other option is always going to be more popular.
