I can't believe for a moment that this issue didn't appear in pre-production testing. Some manager, some where decided that the vehiucle would go in to production with this "characteristic".
Shocking really.

So speaking to one the Mercedes reps here in my city just now and they said Mercedes are now fitting the cars with new 'knuckles' which actually sorts the crabbing out... However not available for the AMG models! Wonder if this holds up

I heard that and asked them. Was met with blank faces. That reminds me I need to call them again data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
But yes mine is an AMG with the 43 engine.

Hmm, so they have actually gone and engineered a better solution. I wonder if the AMG has bigger knuckles to cope with the larger wheels or something ?
You'd hope that if a revised part is available and it does work they'd do the AMG part too.

One could say that Mercedes are dragging their knuckles here
