Some time ago in deepest, darkest Lancashire there was a retired, eccentric Headteacher who had the plate T

T4 WTU(i.e. taught you).

Seems fair enough, but what made it more amusing was the word spelled out when you looked in your rear view mirror..........work it out for yourself data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Ive seen 'A4' on a car before, not a Audi A4 either.

I like my mates aswell, it was WE51EYZ.

I dont see the point in plates that dont really say anything like initials and 3/4 numbers. Ive also seen people get very creative with letters like making L's into I's, O's into U's, G's into C's and E's etc...

This is often the problem with 'car specific' plates.
What makes sense on one car looks daft on another.
Far too restrictive.

I've seen these running around:
WEL5H on a BMW
5EXY on a white Rolls Royce
NON1X on a Mazda MX5
PR05SER on a Focus

Years ago saw 2 police cars both with the letters TWP on them at an agricultural show in St Albans. Took great delight in telling them that TWP meant stupid in Welsh.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'd love G18BSY.

A woman who lives near me has K15 SME on her Porsche Boxster spaced and tweaked to read K1SS ME.

Last summer I saw E JORDAN on a BMW 3 series outside my local bar, so joked to my bro that must be Eddie Jordan's ride.

Then went inside and he was having lunch with his family data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Personally I don't really think there is such a thing as a "good private plate".
Short ones like xxx ABC or short, dateless plates can look good.
But anything that requires bad and illegal spacing, placing screws illegally etc in my opinion make the driver look like a ****.
