Bangladesh/Afghanistan: what a star Shakib Al Hasan is! The Afghans are still below the standard required at this level and I can't see them winning a game - their bowlers are good at putting on the strangle on slow pitches, but they simply don't have the batsmen to either post a total or chase one.

England/Australia: the Aussies just looked like they wanted it more and it was a bit of a strange atmosphere at Lord's, almost like the home fans didn't really believe we could win. We also have a team of very similar players - biffers who can score quickly - rather than anyone (apart from Root) who's prepared to graft an innings by running lots of twos and threes.

I suppose we could beat both India and New Zealand, but Bangladesh or even Sri Lanka must feel they have a chance of sneaking in if we lose both games.

Pakistan in the driving seat and now NZ guilty of inconsistent bowling. Jadeja time on this pitch!

Babar the Magnificent. And what a knock by Haris. I guess Ferguson was just un-Lockie.

Pakistan have been transformed since Haris came into the side.

There was me thinking that the top 4 was sorted. Honestly think now that England will be out if they don’t win their last two games.

Well, Pakistan, what can you say?

It must be absolute murder supporting them (even more than the West Indies!) as you just never know what you're going to get - either woeful or world beaters.

Haris looks a real star and that's exactly how you chase down a modest total on a difficult pitch.

I take it back; of the three teams chasing England, they look the most likely, especially if they keep playing like that.

Pakistan winning makes it really tough for the hosts now. England now probably need to win both their 2 remaining games against India and NZ. Pakistan's 2 games are against Afghanistan and Bangladesh so they would be expected to win those two.

Impossible to see England qualifying now.Even if they do win against India, or/and NZ.

Beginning to look like an England Football world cup scenario.

All hyped up out of proportion then knocked out before it even gets goingdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Awww and Bairstow is having a moan about pundits and pitches not to their liking. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 It’s the same for all teams..What will you do if your team also has to deal with incompetent umpiring or in/match injuries to key players?
