Ireland being annihilated here, glad wales on other side of draw from NZ

From the moment Joe Schmidt announced he was leaving after the world cup that Irish team got worse and worse. Pathetic performance. Yes the ABs were superb but so many handling errors, knocks ons etc by Ireland. The players should be ashamed of themselves.

England were looking very good indeed. Score really didn't reflect the match as it seemed to be much closer than it looked on the scoreboard. Very entertaining match.

Where were Ireland, they've certainly not shone in this World Cup and this was just so error ridden. Sexton had the same kind of nightmare game that he had against Wales in this year's Six Nations. Once his head goes down the whole team seems to suffer. You simply can't play that badly against the All Blacks and not expect a hammering.

I am really looking forward to the semi final from that part of the draw.

Yeah the Aussies attacked better for the first 20-30mins, but between the holes, poor tactics and a couple of lucky interceptions the scoreline seemed like England romped home, while they really had to fight for it.Then the Wallies slowly withered.
As I said above though, England are just so solid:tortoise vs hare styles.Quarter final will be interesting indeed.

re: All Blacks, what was up with the yellow card at the end?
Ref said he came from off-side position, which didn't look like it at all from the TMO replay. Not attempting to tackle properly, and blocking the post, sure.Off-side though data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

He was at the side of the ruck, not behind the back foot. The ball was still in the live play area, had it been behind over the try line but not grounded, ie, held up then there would have been no offside line. Cynical professional foul deserving of a yellow card.

Don't you dare argue with our Nigel.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

All Blacks are in a different league to all other rugby playing nations and have been since anyone can recall .. remarkable how they maintain there consistency decade after decade probably in sportingterms the greatest ongoing dynasty there ability to replace and produce talent is second to none.

So as much i would rather England win the SF i can not truthfully see anything but a AB win .. not just the Semi but the Final also.

Wouldn't have mattered who we played today, we weren't good enough this tournament.

Is it surprising when the New Zealand children get to chant various Hakas before school every morning. What did we have.......Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
