Nikon D40 what is it worth

I have a Nikon D40 along with a 135 zoom lens and a standard lens.  It comes with a carry case and user manual.

I dont need this camera anymore and I am just wondering what it would be worth.  Before I visit the camera club.    The camera must be about 6-8 years old and is in superb condition.

Just wondering what I should be asking for price wise.

The only one on eBay that recently sold with an 18-135 lens went for £131. Obviously as a seller you would loose 10%  in seller and PayPal fees. With a stick 18-55 they go for around £100 mark. Depending on what the other lens is (50mm F1.8 maybe?) you may get £150-200 I guess.

Also have a look what the second had retail price is on MPB and London Camera Exchange and then factor in private sale reduction.

The D40 was a gem among the range of Nikon cameras. I bought my wife one back in the day around 2009 & was always annoyed that she produced better pictures than my D200 & other cameras I owned. She eventually sold it & bought a Fuji bridge camera, but always regretted having to part with the D40. I sold it for her on Ebay with a 105 zoom & got a really good price for it. IMO it is now a collectors piece if in good nick & a keeper.
