Hi everyone, just getting into this fitness /wellbeing malarkey.

I have a couple of perfectly serviceable watches so don't need a smart watch. What I want is just a band. Doesn't need a display. Good battery life and comfortable enough to wear 24x7.

Would like standard functions, steps, distance heart rate etc. Water resistance is a bonus. I also like the Sony smartband 2s smart wake up functionality.

Besides the Sony, what else is out there and worth a look at <£100 that can give me the above?

Xaomi Mi Band 2 . Cant recommend it enough. For £30  its a bargain and fundamentally the same as a Fitbit for a fraction of the price. We have 2 and both have been great, I wear it all the time and the battery lasts a month.

oooh thanks, this looks idea and not expensive to take a stab at in case I don't actually get on with wearing it all the time (I can't wear a watch at night...)

I have just lost my Xiaomi Band 1s and have bought this: Teclast H30 Bluetooth 4.0 Heart Rate Monitor Smart Wristband to replace it.

1 for the mi band 2.
Ordered mine from gearbest, arrived in a couple of days, links well with mi fit app.
Bought mine to test if I would really get something from a band.

My Teclast H30 arrived today.  Apart from some very iffy translations on the companion app, it works well.  Lovely quality strap and watch unit, certainly better looking (and probably better quality) than my MiBand 1s.

Aside from step counting, it monitors heart rate and also provides call and message notifications.  I'll update tomorrow on the sleep tracking.

Sleep tracking seems pretty accurate as well.  Overall, for just over a tenner its very impressive.
