I've just one...again. As I wanted to have the set that suits me. Oly 60mm macro, Oly 12-40 mm PRO and now the telephoto. Had one before but had similar options and although it wont get a lot of use it will come in handy. And at £356 from JL it's worth it to me. Takes nice sharp photos and even at f6.7 tweal the ISO up a bit  and its still excellent for the odd wildlife shot.

However, when I attach it to my EM-10 MKII the camera shows up on the firmware updater but not the lens. It just says "Lens" and "1.0. I'm on the latest camera firmware level, 1.4, and ll my other lenses show model of lens and firmware level. Lens works OK but thois is still strange. Anyone else got this ?

I have emailed Olympus support but hopefully someone here can suggest something.....

Is there a firmware update for it?
I’d check the Olympus download pages there may be nothing there.
Iirc correctly it’s fairly old so it probably isn’t worth updating to Olympus Workspace to get the latest updater software but it can’t hurt.
Reminds me I’ve never checked my new (to me) 12-40 is up to date.

It’s not even listed yet all the other lenses are. The fact that the updated doesn’t even give it a model number is odd. Still, it works fine
