I have the standard 42mm Galaxy Watch. I expect the Watch Active 2 to have comparable battery life, which means easily getting through the day for normal use and AOD off
. The Active 2 is the one to get, as it has a speaker and can take calls and it's got a digital rotating bezel. When I go for a run, I stream music from the watch and use Strava. It'll use about 30% battery during this activity for my usual 10k run. No problem to charge again. But having the ability to charge from my S10 Plus wirelessly when abroad is a godsend. No extra cables / docks needed.
If I hadn't bought the normal Galaxy Watch at the start of the year, I would've bought the Active 2 that's just been released. But my Watch has had the One UI software upgrade and, I prefer the physical bezel, so all good for another few years... |
