I am being swayed by the Yoga's ability to project on the walls (seems like a bit of a gadget feature but might be useful) Its certainly novel.
Also its amazing battery life.
I have been put off by the reviews claiming processor and software conflicts though.
If the ipad is like my iphone then it will be silky smooth, its a joy to use and the ipad mini looks like a lovely tablet.
I will be mostly using it to entertain the kids with films and BBC iplayer downloads and the odd Cbeebies app.
Emails and internet for me and the wife.
I am still torn so any further thoughts or new advice is welcome.
I'm on iOS with an iPhone 6 and an iPad Air 2 so I'm biased.
In saying that, I've owned Android phones and I've used Android tablets and I enjoyed them but went back to iOS and here I'm staying as they tie in with my Apple MacBook Pro.
If I was to pick between the two you're considering I'd go with the Mini as you'll feel right at home using it with the benefit of the bigger screen but unless cost is an issue I'd urge you to also consider an iPad Air as it's screen size is nearer the size of the Yoga's.
The reviews of the Yoga with the software conflicts would definitely put me off it.
I would go with the bigger screen, it makes a difference to media and web surfing, i have used a ipad the first one and it was great, i now use a samsung tablet and it is just as good,
But my first tablet was a cheap 10 inch lenovo, it did the job fine but their were no software updates for it, i searched on forums for advice and it seems to be a standard thing for lenovo.
