Earbuds for Acer Iconia tablet

I need a set of headphones or earbuds for listening to roots/country music on an Acer Iconia B1 850 tablet. The headphones that I currently have are not loud enough, even with the Acer's volume control turned right up. I would prefer to get a set which has both bluetooth and wired capability.  
I've noticed that some earbuds on the market have a volume control. How does this work in conjunction with the volume control on the tablet?

For various reasons I don’t want to spend a huge amount of money, maybe around £30.                                 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I use the same Tab.  I downloaded Volume booster from Play store..........set it at 15% and that will sort the sound out.
