Android tablet to iPad

Hi all

I watch a lot Netflix and movies on my current Pixel c tablet. I'm considering moving over to an iPad pro 12.9.

My only concern is codec support x264/5 and AC3/DTS as Apple lock everything down. Anyone have experience of the ipad AV experience?
