Syncing different RGB standards?

Is it possible to sync RGB devices that use different standards?

For example, is there any software that could read the settings on my RGB motherboard and then copy them across to a razor keyboard\mouse, or the other way around.

Well RGB is a standard, so as long as you get the RGB number from one, you should be able to just input that on all the devices to match the colours.

I was more thinking of a software solution that could automatically sync devices.

For example, if I want to watch a movie it would be nice to have a function that would dim all of my RGB at the same time. Rather than me having to use 3 different software packages to do it manually.

Unfortunately, the answer is not really. Each hardware manufacturer has its own software - Corsair iCue, Asus Aura, NZXT CAM, EVGA PrecisionX, Logitech Lightsync and so on.

The cynical part of me thinks one of the reasons they have pushed RGB so much over the last 2-3 years is because it is one way of trapping people into "their ecosystem"... for example;
"Oh I guess if I'm going to get my motherboard from NZXT I better get everything else from NZXT otherwise the RGB won't sync up!". In my new PC I just bought all my cooling (H150i cooler, ML fans, fan-controller, AX860i) from Corsair, simply because the Corsair Link software will be much nicer to use if all the cooling products are from Corsair.

What you are looking for is one piece of software which can sync them all up - unfortunately though it doesn't really exist. People have certainly tried, but so far the best anyone has come up with is far worse (buggy, inconsistent, poorly supported etc) than just using multiple pieces of software.

Sorry! It's a shame there isn't some sort of RGB protocol they can all agree on, but I doubt they would for the selfish financial reasons above.
