Spent an hour or so with my dear old aged dad's windows 10 pc yesterday...I've sorted most of his problems over the years but I've tried a few things with the below problem but still stumped:
He's had the problem for a while but I only got to see it yesterday - half a dozen apps/programs would flicker open then immediately close again. I managed to whittle it down to the fact it was the windows store and apps related to it, e.g. games he's downloaded and the mail app (edge is ok, as are things we've installed from disk or a webpage. It looks to me as if they're not getting permission to stay open but can't find a fix for it so would welcome any suggestions.
